Basil brings a wealth of knowledge to the team and over 50 years of financial market experience. Beginning his professional career at Commonwealth Bank in the Treasury department, Basil worked in corporate money market services, fixed income, futures and options trading before transitioning to the newly founded Private Client Services, or CommSec as is now known today.
Following CBA, Basil moved to investment and advisory firm Wilsons HTM in 2006 and subsequently Shaw and Partners in 2020 where he continues to provide sophisticated investment advice to his long-standing client base.
As an active trader, Basil is largely responsible for the execution desk within the GP Wealth Team and focuses on providing idea generation and discretionary portfolio management to his ultra-high-net-worth clients.
